Anny Tohme joined Blue Earth Capital in June 2023 as a Fund Controller and has 15 years of audit experience. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, she worked as an Internal Audit Manager at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) in London where she spent 11 years analyzing risks and controls across Global Markets Sales & Trading activities and Global Corporate and Investment Banking business units. Prior to BAML, Anny spent 4 years at Deloitte Paris within the Financial Services Industry (FSI) department working as an external auditor and certifying financial institutions’ financial accounts.
Anny holds a DESS in Finance from Paris II Assas University, a Master in Economics and Corporate Strategies from Paris IX Dauphine University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Saint Joseph University in Beirut.

Inês Rocha joined Blue Earth Capital in 2023 and has 8 years of industry experience. She previously held the position of Investment Manager at Norrsken VC, a leading European impact fund, where she invested in climate intelligence, energy transition, and healthcare companies. Prior to her time at Norrsken VC, Inês served as a private equity Associate at Hellman & Friedman, concentrating primarily on software businesses. Inês began her career with Bain & Company in Madrid, working as a member of their Private Equity Group. Inês holds a BSc. in Economics from the University of Porto.

Diana Santos is an Associate at Blue Earth Capital. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, she held positions at UBS in both Wealth Management and in Cyber Security. Most recently, she worked as a Private Market specialist. Prior to that, Diana worked as a consultant in a global innovation and engineering firm, in Paris. Diana holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Porto and speaks English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

Fabio joined Blue Earth in March 2023. Previously, he was part of the Private Equity team at Edmond de Rothschild, focusing on impact-driven investments across multiple strategies. Fabio also had significant experiences in investment banking at BNP Paribas and direct infrastructure investing at Green Arrow Capital, where he focused on renewable energies.
Fabio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Management from LUISS University, and a Master’s degree in Management from ESCP Business School.

Cordelia Peters

Cordelia joined Blue Earth Capital in 2023 and has 4 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, Cordelia held positions at Goldman Sachs in both Investment Banking and the Executive Office.
Most recently, she worked as an Associate in Goldman’s Sustainable Finance Group, which is responsible for partnering with the firm’s businesses to drive sustainability-related commercial activity for the firm and its clients. She also helped support the firm’s leadership on climate change, including by advancing the firm’s thought leadership, policy positions, business practices and external engagement efforts on climate.
Prior to that, Cordelia spent two years in Investment Banking, where she advised companies on M&A and capital markets transactions, with a focus on real estate, lodging, gaming and real estate technology.Â
Cordelia holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She was a member of the Varsity women’s lacrosse team and two-time Academic All-American.

Fabian joined Blue Earth Capital in November 2022. Previously, he worked as a Business Developer in the Strategy & Initiatives area within the Swiss division of Credit Suisse where he contributed to strategy development and execution. Prior to that, Fabian gained experience in various positions in the fields of asset management, financial controlling, financial advisory and the solar industry. Fabian holds a Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) as well as a federal diploma in commerce from an apprenticeship with UBS earlier in his career.Â

Luvina Yao joined Blue Earth Capital in 2022. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, Luvina had six years of experience working in the corporate banking division at Citi and Mizuho in Hong Kong, responsible for the banking needs of large multinational companies.Â
Luvina holds an MBA Degree from Cambridge Judge Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree of Economics and Finance from The University of Hong Kong.

Matthias joined Blue Earth Capital in September 2022. Previously, he worked at S8nations, a Zurich-based NGO, managing the launch of an investment product, and at Fronteris Group, where he helped build a company in the Gambia. Matthias has also worked in asset management, renewable energy, audit, and real estate at several German SMEs.
Next to his Master in Banking & Finance at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Matthias obtained the Certificate Managing Climate Solutions (MaCS-HSG), reflecting his passion for climate action.

Nicolas Muller joined Blue Earth Capital in 2022 and has 14 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, he worked as a Senior Investment Manager for Obviam AG, a Swiss impact investing firm, where he was responsible for fund investments, co-investments, and secondary transactions. Prior to joining Obviam, Nicolas was a Principal at Capital Dynamics, a global alternative asset manager, within the US Primaries team and was working as a Private Equity Analyst at the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations in Paris, France.  Nicolas covered various regions during his professional career including the US, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Nicolas holds a master’s degree in asset management from the INSEEC Group, Paris (France), and a master’s degree in corporate finance from the Ecole de Commerce Européenne (ECE), Lyon (France). He holds the professional designation of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

Sophia Xu joined Blue Earth Capital in 2022 and has over three years of experience in the social impact sector. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, her work at nonprofit organizations focused on education and child-development in underserved communities in the United States, Hong Kong and mainland China. Sophia holds a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Hong Kong and a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Yale University.

Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, Shea worked as a Partnership Officer at the Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture with focus on the improvement of the livelihood of smallholder farmers. She was involved in various global initiatives and responsible for strengthening the relationship with the Foundation’s investors. Next to her Master in Business Management at the University of St.Gallen (HSG), Shea obtained a federal diploma in agriculture. Shea’s previous work experience include positions in consulting at Deloitte and research assistance at ETH Zurich and a renowned executive search company.

Christina joined Blue Earth Capital in 2022 and has more than 15 years of financial industry experience. Prior to starting with Blue Earth Capital she was a Senior Compliance Officer at AXA Investment Managers, one of the leading responsible asset managers globally. Prior to that, Christina worked for Man Group plc, an active asset management firm, Horizon21, a diversified investment boutique and the RMF Investment Group. She gained deep industry insights by contributing to different teams, including Product Legal, Corporate Legal and Compliance as well as over various asset classes.
Christina holds a master’s degree in Law from the University of Zurich and Lausanne (2008), Switzerland.

Lien joined Blue Earth Capital in 2022. The bulk of her prior experience was in Leveraged Finance at RBS, where she worked predominantly on structuring and executing LBO financings in the European Leveraged Loan and High Yield Bond markets in support of Private Equity Sponsors. Directly before joining Blue Earth, Lien was a Senior Associate on Pantheon’s Private Debt team focusing on secondary investments into European Private Debt funds.
Lien holds a BSc in Economics & Politics from The University of Warwick.

David Moore joined Blue Earth Capital in 2022 and has 14 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, he was Head of Alternative Investments at Alexander Forbes Investments where he lead the development of Private Market programmes which invested across Infrastructure, Private Debt, Direct Property and Private Equity. Previously, he was at FMO – Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (sustainable private sector investment in emerging markets), Standard Bank (corporate and investment banking) and RisCura (unlisted asset valuation and advisory). He holds a M.Bus.Sc (Finance), M.Com (Financial Management) and B.Bus.Sc (Finance) from the University of Cape Town.

Constantin Wedekind

Constantin joined Blue Earth in March 2022. Previously, he was an investment banker in the Energy and Infrastructure M&A team at Nomura Greentech in London, a global investment bank with a focus on the energy transition. He was the financial modeller and valuer on a range of billion-dollar mandates spanning energy infrastructure in Europe, renewable power generation assets in emerging markets, and technology companies driving the circular economy.
Prior to investment banking, Constantin worked at the Africa-focussed PE fund Emerging Capital Partners (ECP) in Paris and was a strategy consultant in the digital infrastructure team of EY-Parthenon in Boston, where he conducted commercial due diligence for large PE clients.
Constantin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Brown University, and a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance from HEC Paris.

Christiane Tan

Christiane joined Blue Earth Capital in 2022. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, Christiane was a member of the growth equity investment team at Pollination, a specialist climate change investment and advisory firm. She was also previously part of the Industrials investment team at Temasek International, where she evaluated public and private equity investments globally.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge and is a CFA charterholder.

Jenna Espley-Jones

Prior to joining Blue Earth, Jenna worked as a Senior Associate in the Capital Markets and Assurance Advisory team at PricewaterhouseCoopers
in Zurich, where she provided clients with advice on transaction accounting, accounting change and accounting problem solving. Jenna started her career working in Audit at Deloitte where she provided assurance services to leading banks, investment managers, insurers and pension funds in South Africa.
Jenna is a qualified Chartered Accountant of South Africa. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Science specializing in Finance and Accounting and holds a post-graduate diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town.

Stephen Marquardt

Stephen (“Steve”) Marquardt joined Blue Earth Capital in January 2022 to ensure the successful executive transition to CEO, as of the 1st of March 2022. Steve is a seasoned professional who combines extensive private equity and impact investment experience. His previous roles included serving as CEO of private equity firm Doughty Hanson & Co.; a member of the Board and Investment Committee of Bridges Venture; a UK-based specialist private markets investor focusing on impact investments; and member of the Executive Committee of Coller Capital Ltd. Prior to these roles, Steve was a Managing Director of Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch. He holds degrees from Harvard University (MBA), Loyola University of Chicago (JD) and Northwestern University (BA).

Prior to joining Blue Earth, Katie worked as an Associate in the Client & Strategy Development team at Bridges Fund Management, a specialist private markets investor based in London. Katie started her career working in Investments & Trading and Private Markets at Deutsche Bank, where she provided bespoke investment solutions to sophisticated institutional investors.
Katie is a Certified ESG Analyst with the European Federation of Financial Analysts Society, and holds the Investment Management Certificate from the CFA UK. She graduated with an MEng in Biochemical Engineering from University College London.

Nan Leake

Nan Leake currently serves on the Investment Advisory Committee of the Virginia Retirement System and the Board of VCU Investment Management Company. She also served on both the Board and Investment Advisory Committee of the Richmond Retirement System. Nan has 35 years of experience in the real estate industry and was previously a Partner in the Private Real Estate business unit at Partners Group. During her decade-long tenure at Partners Group, Nan was responsible for advancing the firm’s real estate investment strategies and managing investor relationships. Throughout her career, Nan has been involved in all aspects of real estate investing, having worked exclusively with institutional investors to design, structure and implement their global real estate investment strategies. Prior to joining Partners Group in 2007, Nan was a senior consultant at Pension Consulting Alliance, Inc., whose discretionary real estate asset management business was integrated into Partners Group in 2007. Before this, she worked at Property Investment Advisors Inc., the Virginia Retirement System and NBS Realty Advisors.

Scott Essex

Scott Essex is an Advisory Partner at Partners Group focusing on Partners Group’s private debt business, based in New York. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Partners Group’s portfolio companies CapitalSpring Finance Company and Diversified Maintenance Systems. Previously, he was a member of the Global Investment Committee, Chairman of the Global Direct Debt Investment Committee and a member of the Global Liquid Debt Investment Committee and also Head of Private Debt in the Americas. Prior to joining Partners Group, Scott worked at GE Capital in the Media, Communications and Entertainment finance division. Prior to that, he worked at Lazard Ltd in the corporate finance department in London. Scott serves on the Board of Directors of The Teagle Foundation and chairs the Audit Committee. He holds an MBA with distinction from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, Washington, D.C., and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.

A former Head of Treasury and Trading Europe at The Bank of Bermuda, prior to becoming a Certified Independent Director, he was responsible for Fund Administration and Custody Sales at HSBC Securities Services and became the CEO of ABN AMRO’s (FORTIS) Prime Fund Solutions in Luxembourg. His trading, operational, compliance and risk experience covers all asset classes including Private Funds, Private Equity, Real Estate, Equity, Bonds, Derivatives and Credit. Additionally, Mr. Claude Noesen is a director for several Luxembourg companies.

Robert Brimeyer has more than 15 years of experience in alternative assets fund administration and has been working in financial services for more than 20 years.
At Alter Domus Robert has had different roles over the past 10 years, including Global Head of Fund Services and Group Chief Operating Officer. As Director for Strategic Projects, reporting into the Group CEO, his main focus now is delivering innovation and build delivery infrastructure of the future. He is also instrumental in onboarding strategic clients globally. Robert is acting as board member on a number of Private Equity, Real Estate and Private Debt funds. He holds a Master in IT and Economics of University of Nancy, France and an MBA (EuroMBA) delivered jointly by 6 leading European universities.

Justin Sykes is Founder and Managing Director of Innovest Advisory. Justin Sykes has over 15 years’ experience in the structuring, financing and implementation of innovative and large-scale impact investments for private wealth clients which have positively impacted thousands of lives. He serves as a board member and adviser to a number of impact focused endeavors including social businesses, charities and local grassroots financial institutions engaged in supporting the livelihoods of low income communities around the world.

John Hallam

John Hallam, resident in Guernsey, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and qualified as an accountant in 1971. He is a former partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers having retired in 1999 after 27 years with the firm both in Guernsey and in other countries. He is the Chairman of NB Distressed Debt Investments Ltd as well as being a director of a number of financial services companies, some of which are listed on the London Stock Exchange. He served for many years as a member of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission from which he retired in 2006 having been its Chairman for the previous three years.

Rupert Dorey

Mr Dorey has 35 years of experience in financial markets. Mr Dorey was at CSFB for 17 years from 1988 to 2005 where he specialised in credit related products in the areas of debt distribution, origination and trading, covering all types of debt from investment grade to high yield and distressed debt. . He held a number of positions at CSFB, including establishing CSFB’s high yield debt distribution business in Europe, fixed income credit product coordinator for European offices and head of UK Credit and Rates Sales. Since 2005 he has been acting in a Non-Executive Directorship capacity for a number of Hedge Funds, Private Equity & Infrastructure Funds, for both listed and unlisted vehicles. He is former President of the Guernsey Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Institute of Directors.

Urs Baumann is co-founder of Blue Earth Capital. Urs has been the firm’s founding CEO and Chairman of the Investment Committee until March 2022. He has been active in impact investing since 2012 and has 29 years of experience as founder, CEO & Non-Executive Director of leading Swiss and international financial institutions in the area of credit and asset management. His areas of expertise include: managing growth, restructurings & turnarounds, M&A, organizational development. Prior work experience includes Bellevue Group, Lindorff Group, Swisscard and McKinsey & Company. He holds a Master of Arts from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland and a MBA from Booth School of Business, Chicago, USA.

Andreas Kirchschläger is CEO of the elea Foundation for Ethics in Globalization. He serves as president of the board of trustees of the Max Schmidheiny Foundation and as a member of the board of directors of GCA Altium AG. Prior to joining elea, he was Managing Director and President of the St. Gallen Foundation for International Studies. He graduated from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland, where he studied law and economics.

Robert joined Blue Earth Capital in September 2020, after finishing his Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich. Julia joined Blue Earth Capital in May 2020 and has 14 years of impact industry experience. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital she held various positions at responsAbility Investments AG, a leading asset manager in the field of development investments, offering investment solutions to private and institutional clients. Her roles included Co-Heading Sales for Distribution Partners in Switzerland and Heading Sales Germany for Banks & Institutional clients. From 2007-2010 Julia worked for Partners Group AG.
Julia holds a master’s degree in European Business Berlin / Madrid from the ESCP-EAP.

David Keel
Head of Client Solutions
David joined Blue Earth Capital in 2020 and has over 20 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital he was Head of Business Development and a Member of the Executive Management at BlueOrchard, a leading microfinance manager. Prior to that, David worked for several large asset managers including BlueBay, Lyxor and Barclays Capital as Head of Sales Switzerland. From 2002 – 2011, David worked for Zurich based fund of hedge funds and commodity specialist Harcourt where he acted as Managing Partner and Head of Business Development. David has started his career in financial markets at Merrill Lynch in Zurich.
David is both a CFA and CAIA Chartholder, and holds a master’s degree in Law from the University of Fribourg (1997), Switzerland.

Samuel Hopkins
Senior Manager
Samuel Hopkins joined Blue Earth Capital in 2020, prior to which he worked as an Associate in the Agriculture Equity team at responsAbility Investments AG. In this role, he supported deal sourcing and execution in LatAm and Asia, as well as fund development and set-up. Previously, he also worked at BlackRock supporting the development and reporting of risk and performance attribution analytics. Samuel has a Masters in Economics and Business from Sciences Po, Paris and a Bachelors degree in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Lena Kulac
Executive Assistant & Office Manager
Lena Kulac is supporting the Executive Committee and Senior Managements’ office and handles Blue Earth’s office management.
Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital in 2017 she worked as a team assistant in the Client Solutions Europe department at Partners Group AG in Zug and holds a Diploma in Events Management from KV Zurich Business School.

Claudia Hunter
Executive Assistant & Office Manager
Claudia Hunter is supporting the Seniors Managements’ office. She joined the team in March 2019 having come over from Partners Group where she worked in logistics. Prior to that she spent 10 years at golf club Küssnacht am Rigi heading up event organization and client relations.

Urs Wietlisbach

Urs Wietlisbach co-founded Partners Group in 1996 and Blue Earth Capital in 2015. He is a member of Partners Group Holding AG’s board of directors and chairman of the markets committee, based in Zug. He has 30 years of industry experience and is an active impact investor since 2014. Prior to founding Partners Group, he worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. and Credit Suisse. He holds a Masters of Arts from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland.

Tilmann Trommsdorff

Tilmann Trommsdorff is a private investor and entrepreneur with 37 years of experience in finance overall and 20 years in private markets investments in particular. As a co-founder of PG Impact (Verein) in 2006, he is one of the early pioneers in impact investing. Before founding his own management and consulting company in 2012 Tilmann worked for more than twelve years at Partners Group. In his last position he was responsible for the Portfolio & Risk Management Department and a member of Partners Group’s Executive Board. Prior to joining Partners Group he held various management positions at Swiss and international banks. Tilmann hold a MAS in Coaching, Supervision and Change Management from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and a Diploma in Banking from the Swiss Finance Institute, Zurich.

Melissa Cheong

Melissa Cheong is a Managing Partner of Blackhorn Ventures, an investment firm focused on redefining industrial resource efficiency, where she balances her time between managing the firm’s strategic goals, procedures and policies, creating partnerships and working with talented and inspiring company founders, and developing the firm’s investment strategy for current and future funds. Melissa has 20 years of industry experience, with her most recent roles focused on social impact investing. Prior to Blackhorn Ventures Melissa was Chief Investment Officer at Zoma Capital, the private family office of Ben and Lucy Ana Walton, and held various positions at Treehouse Investments, Imprint Capital (now Goldman Sachs-Imprint), Plainfield Asset Management and Deutsche Bank. Melissa holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Chicago, where she was a recipient of the Richter Grant. She received an MBA from Columbia Business School, with a concentration in Finance and International Development.

Henri Lusa
Member of the Investment Committee (Direct Debt Specialist)
Henri Lusa is Senior Vice President at Partners Group and member of the European Private Debt business unit, based in Zug. Prior to joining Partners Group, he worked at UniCredit Leveraged Finance and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a master’s degree in economics and business administration from HEC Lausanne, Switzerland and a Master in Corporate Finance from SDA Bocconi, Italy. He is also a chartered alternative investment analyst.

Baylor Daggmill

Baylor Daggmill is Co-Head of the Integrated Private Real Estate business unit, based in Denver, and a member of the Private Real Estate Investment Committee. She sits on the boards of 12 Advisory Boards on behalf of Partners Group. She has been with Partners Group since 2009 and has 15 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Partners Group, she worked at the Carlyle Group in the real estate team focused on risk and portfolio management and at Cambridge Associates focused on private markets investments. She holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and psychology from the University of Richmond, Virginia, USA. She is also a CFA charterholder.

Dimiter Tschawow

Dimiter Tschawow is Senior Vice President at Partners Group and a member of the Private Equity Integrated Investments business unit based in Zug.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the firm’s portfolio companies Amann Girrbach 2018 and Rioglass Group. He has 14 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Partners Group, he worked at Darby Private Equity, BC Partners and Ardian.
He holds a master’s degree in financial economics from the University of Nottingham, UK.

Amy Wang

Amy Wang joined Blue Earth Capital in 2016 and has 14 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital she worked as an Assistant Vice President for Deutsche Bank’s Global Social Finance group where she led the group’s clean energy and South/Southeast Asian financial services social enterprise investing activities. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Amy worked as an Investment Associate at Grassroots Business Fund and Centinela Capital Partners and an Analyst at Citigroup Corporate Investment Bank. Amy has worked across Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in International Affairs from the Lauder Institute from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University.

Kayode Akinola
Managing Director (Head of Private Equity)
Kayode Akinola heads the global private equity direct investments practice at Blue Earth Capital. He has more than 20 years of private equity investment experience across developed and emerging markets and before Blue Earth Capital was a Director in the Private Equity team at investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) in London. Prior to KKR, he was a Partner with Helios Investment Partners an emerging and frontier market focused private equity firm. Before Helios, Kayode was with investment firm Investcorp in London focused on private equity transactions in Europe. Kayode started his career in 1999 with Deutsche Bank as a member of the Leveraged Finance team in London focused on private equity transactions and holds an LLB (Laws) from University College London.

Clara Sanchez

Clara Sanchez joined Blue Earth Capital in 2019 and has 12 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, she worked on the Sustainable Investments team at Deutsche Asset Management, where she was primarily responsible for private debt transactions in Latin America. Her transaction experience spans a number of sectors including financial services, healthcare, fintech, and education. Previously, she also worked at the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development and at HSBC’s Private Bank in various investment research and advisory roles. She is a CFA charterholder and holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MPA from the London School of Economics.

Benjamin Hogan

Benjamin Hogan joined Blue Earth Capital in 2021 and has 15 years of industry experience. Ben has been active in zero-carbon transition investments since 2013 across both private and public markets. Before joining Blue Earth Capital, Ben was a Director at Inherent Group, an ESG-integrated, multi-product, alternative investment firm where he led investments into companies enabling the transition to a lower-carbon economy. Prior to Inherent Group, Ben led energy investing at Orange Capital, a special situations and activist hedge fund. Prior to Orange Capital, Ben was a Principal at Asset Management Finance, a growth equity subsidiary of Credit Suisse. Ben started his career in investment banking at Berkshire Capital, a middle-market M&A boutique. Ben received a BSc. in Economics from Duke University.

Claude Kamga

Claude Kamga joined Blue Earth Capital in 2021 and has 13 years of industry experience. Before joining Blue Earth Capital, Claude was a Director at Wendel Group, a global investment firm that belongs to the Dow Jones Sustainability World & Europe indices. While there, he invested in companies in the business services, education and built environment sectors. Prior to Wendel, Claude was a member of the private equity and infrastructure teams at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. During his time at KKR, he invested primarily in businesses active in the clean energy revolution, the electrification of the transport system and regenerative agriculture. Claude started his career in Credit Suisse’s mergers & acquisitions group in London. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a BCom in Economics & Finance (First Class Honours) from McGill University.

Rohan Ghose

Rohan Ghose joined Blue Earth Capital in 2020 and has 14 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, he was a Director at Palladium Impact Capital, an impact investment bank. Previously, he was at LetterOne Technology (growth equity and VC investing), KPMG (deal advisory) and Analysys Mason (strategy consulting). He holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and completed the Social Finance Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Imar Nandha

Imar joined Blue Earth Capital in 2021 and has 13 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, he worked as a Senior Investment Officer at BlueOrchard Finance, providing private debt to microfinance institutions and fintech platforms in South and South East Asia. Previously he has also worked at Silicon Valley Bank, Puma Private Equity, Bank of London and the Middle East and KPMG. He is an ACA chartered accountant and holds a BSc in Chemistry with Management from the University of Warwick.

Charles Feutray
Vice President / Private Credit
Charles Feutray joined Blue Earth Capital in 2019. Previously, he was a Senior Portfolio Associate at the Global Development Incubator (GDI) in New York, where he supported the creation and scale-up of social enterprises and non-profits in emerging countries. Prior to GDI, he was a Senior M&A Analyst at Solocal in Paris, where he conducted direct equity investments in digital companies. Charles has worked across Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe, in sectors that include healthcare, clean cooking and anti-modern slavery. A French-American national, he holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montreal.

Sohna Jawara
Associate / Funds & Co-Investments
Sohna Jawara re-joined Blue Earth Capital in February 2019, after spending eleven months with the team in 2017 as Blue Earth Capital’ first Investment Fellow. In the interim, she spent 2018 in Dakar, Senegal, where she worked with Francophone Africa impact fund, Investisseurs et Partenaires. Prior to her Fellowship, Sohna worked as an Associate in the Debt Capital Markets team at Deutsche Bank in London, executing public and private debt transactions for UK multi-nationals, before serving as a volunteer for a healthcare NGO In Dakar, Senegal. Sohna holds an MA (Oxon) In Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford and is a dual Gambian / British national.

Nadya Menshikova
Vice President / Private Credit
Nadya Menshikova joined Blue Earth Capital in 2018. Previously, she was an Associate in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs in London, where she worked across M&A and capital markets transactions in the EMEA financial institutions space. Prior to that, she did several internships in impact investing and asset management in South-East Asia. Nadya has experience with the non-profit sector having volunteered with NGOs in Vietnam and Thailand and worked as an external consultant for ActionAid International. Nadya holds an MSc in Development Management and Anthropology and a BSc in Management from the London School of Economics.

Espen Ugland Haugen

Espen Haugen joined Blue Earth Capital in 2020 and has over 6 years of industry experience.
Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, Espen spent 2 years as an Associate with Partners Group working across their Real Estate and Private Equity teams.
He also spent 4 years working on M&A transactions for commercial real estate covering the Nordics for a boutique advisory firm.
He holds an MBA from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School.

Fernando Silva

Fernando Silva joined Blue Earth Capital in 2020 and has over 8 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, Fernando worked in the impacting investing sector at MCE Social Capital in San Francisco and GSCM in London. He also spent over 5 years at HSBC’s Latin America Investment Banking team, where he advised on M&A and equity capital markets transactions throughout the region. Fernando also has experience with the non-profit sector, having founded two NGO’s and volunteered at a coffee and honey cooperative in Southeast Mexico. Originally from Mexico City, he holds an MSc in Public Policy from King’s College London and a BA in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
