Scott Essex

Scott Essex is an Advisory Partner at Partners Group focusing on Partners Group’s private debt business, based in New York. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Partners Group’s portfolio companies CapitalSpring Finance Company and Diversified Maintenance Systems. Previously, he was a member of the Global Investment Committee, Chairman of the Global Direct Debt Investment Committee and a member of the Global Liquid Debt Investment Committee and also Head of Private Debt in the Americas.

Prior to joining Partners Group, Scott worked at GE Capital in the Media, Communications and Entertainment finance division. Prior to that, he worked at Lazard Ltd in the corporate finance department in London. Scott serves on the Board of Directors of The Teagle Foundation and chairs the Audit Committee. He holds an MBA with distinction from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, Washington, D.C., and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
